Search Tab Organizer for Google Search™ customizes the visible Google Search result navigation tabs locally in the user's browser.

Google Search is a trademark of Google LLC. This extension is an independent personal project by Tyler de Rijk and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC.

Data Handled

• The extension stores user settings in Chrome sync storage, including tab order, hidden tabs, and whether the Maps tab should be restored.
• If Maps is enabled, the extension reads the current search query from the page URL only to build the restored Google Maps link.

Data Not Collected

The extension does not collect, transmit, log, sell, share, or analyze search queries, browsing history, page content, personal information, or extension settings.

Data Sharing

No data is sent to the developer or to third parties by this extension. Chrome sync storage is handled by the user's Chrome browser and Google account settings.

Permissions

The extension requests storage to save settings and runs a content script only on explicit Google Search result page URL patterns needed for its user-facing feature.

Limited Use Statement

The extension does not use Google APIs to access user data. If any Google API data is ever used in the future, use of that information will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
